Wes Hagen is a thirty year veteran in Santa Barbara County wine.  Wes managed Clos Pepe Vineyards for 20 years, made wine for Clos Pepe Estate and J. Wilkes for 20 years, has been with Native9 Wine for three years, consults for vineyards and wineries internationally, managed hospitality, DTC, and sales in every major wine market in the US.  Wes has lectured on wine at Cornell, CalTech, the Smithsonian, ESRI and nominated for TED.  Education starts with passion and authenticity.   Wes was the Central Coast Winegrowers Association 'Grower of the Year' for 2000 and 2001, has researched, written and had approved 4 AVAs in Santa Barbara County, and is a fun guy to chat with over a bottle of wine, beer, Mezcal, or a competitive round of disc golf.
